Honor X70 Now Official: Price, Specs, Features Revealed

Honor has introduced a new entry-level smartphone, the Honor X70, in the Chinese market. The device features a high-capacity 8,300mAh silicon-carbon battery and supports 80W fast wired charging. Wireless charging at the same 80W speed is exclusive to the top-tier configuration.

The Honor X70 is available in four memory and storage combinations. The base 8GB RAM + 128GB model is priced at CNY 1,399 (approx. Rs 16,700). Additional variants include:

* 8GB + 256GB at CNY 1,599 (around Rs 19,000)

* 12GB + 256GB at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs 21,500)

* 12GB + 512GB at CNY 1,999 (close to Rs 24,000)

The device is offered in four color options: Phantom Night Black, Bamboo Rhyme Green, Moonlight White, and Cinnabar Red.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip and runs on Honor’s MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15. It features a 6.79-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1200x2640 and a 120Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness is rated at an exceptionally high 6,000 nits.

The rear panel houses a single 50MP main camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and optical image stabilization (OIS). For selfies, the front camera is an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. The device includes water and dust resistance certifications rated IP66, IP68, and IP69.

The Honor X70’s standout feature is its 8,300mAh battery, capable of 80W wired charging across all models. The 12GB/512GB version also supports 80W wireless charging. Honor claims the device is resistant to water temperatures up to 85°C and can operate continuously in salt spray conditions for up to four hours.

The handset is built to operate underwater up to six meters deep. The screen remains functional in rain and when touched with gloves. A built-in AI assistant called YoYo can activate a system to expel dust and water from the device.

There is no confirmation yet regarding global release plans for the Honor X70. The device currently remains exclusive to the Chinese market.
